Leanne Hersey, PSID pricipal, discovered her passion for classic New England charm growing up in Massachusetts and taking family vacations across the region. A lifelong New Englander, she brings enthusiasm and creativity to each project, whether it’s a living room update, kitchen renovation or new build. Leanne’s background leading the marketing function for venture funded climate tech start-ups lends itself to strong project management and visual story telling.

Understanding that each project is unique, Leanne’s patience and focus on education makes for an enjoyable design process. Her approach focuses on the needs of each individual client and results in spaces that bring lasting joy.

Leanne can be found on weekends spending time with her husband (Principal of Petarson Renovations), her horse, dog and two cats. Petarson Studios Interior Design currently has projects underway across New England, with a primary focus on Massachusetts.

    For those looking to take advantage of our virtual design services, which provide a cost-effective alternative for those comfortable managing their own ordering and logistics. We'll guide you through every step of the design process, ensuring every detail is perfect, from major furnishings to the smallest accessories. Once the final design is complete, you'll receive a comprehensive presentation with links to purchase each item, along with detailed specifications to make implementation straightforward and seamless.

  • Furnishings Refresh

    Get an impactful change to your home on a shorter timeframe with our Furnishings Refresh. For those clients looking for a refresh for one room or even an entire programming, we offer refreshes for those who are looking to embark on design changes that don't include renovation. Updates to furniture and layout, rugs, decor, case goods, windows treatments and lighting are all within this scope. Bespoke pieces to custom fit your home and procurement services are also available with these services.
